Supported by a generous bequest of Virginia P. Engalitcheff to the Arthritis Foundation, Maryland Chapter, the Engalitcheff Arthritis Outcomes Initiative supports research to improve arthritis patient outcomes, initially focused on issues related to the use of newer approved biological agents since their long term safety and efficacy are not yet well understood. The goal of the Engalitcheff Arthritis Outcomes Initiative is to improve the rational use of therapeutics and research through research and education activities that are in the public interest but would not otherwise be done. The purpose of this site is to make the most recent research information from the Engalitcheff Arthritis Outcomes Initiative available to arthritis patients and their families.
